Chevrolet Performance’s CT525 6.2L LS crate engine is a refined blend of advanced engineering and proven performance, designed for those who demand both power and durability in a racing application. Rooted in the LS engine family, the CT525 shares its architecture with the 6.2L LS3, but it’s been adapted explicitly for circle-track (Speedway) racing. With a carbureted intake manifold, a 5.7-litre racing oil pan, and other specialised components, this engine is capable of producing 533 horsepower at 6,600 RPM and 477 lb.-ft. of torque at 5,200 RPM. Its lightweight aluminium block, cross-bolted 6-bolt main caps, and high-flow LS3 rectangular port heads combine to create a robust yet agile engine for competitive use.

The CT525 6.2L comes equipped with coil-on-plug ignition and an SFI-certified balancer. To complete the assembly, you’ll need a carburettor, starter, and Chevrolet Performance’s LS/LSX ignition controller (P/N 19355863), all readily available.
