Gift Card and Gift Voucher Terms of Use

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers issued by Racer Industries from 1 July 2021. By purchasing, redeeming, or attempting to redeem a gift card or voucher, you accept these terms.

Expiry: Gift Cards issued after 31 March 2018 expire 3 years from the date of issue.

2. Definitions

  • Racer Industries – Automotive Imports Pty Ltd ABN 29 005 378 727
  • Gift Card / Gift Voucher – A preloaded voucher purchased or received for use at Racer Industries
  • Remaining Value – The unspent balance
  • We/Us – Racer Industries
  • You/Your – The cardholder or user

3. Redemption & Exclusions

3.1 Redemption

Redeemable at all Racer Industries locations and online at www.racerindustries.com.au

3.2 Exclusions

  • Purchases via phone, fax, or email through affiliated businesses (e.g., CoolDrive Auto Parts)
  • Trade account payments
  • Non-motorsport products not supplied by Racer Industries
  • Purchasing other gift cards or vouchers
  • Cash advances

4. Purchasing Gift Cards/Vouchers

4.1 In-store

Available at:

  • Yatala: 9–13 Dixon Street, QLD 4207
  • Melbourne: 30–32 Lexton Road, Box Hill, VIC 3128

4.2 Online

Denominations: $50, $100, $200, $300, $500, $1000, or combinations thereof. Sent via email upon full payment.

4.3 Payment

Accepted payment methods (excluding gift cards/vouchers). Activation may be delayed after purchase.

5. Using Your Gift Card / Gift Voucher

5.1 Making Purchases

Present your voucher code and secret key to redeem in-store or online. Remaining balance can be reused. No cash change is given.

5.2 Purchases Exceeding Balance

Pay the difference using another payment method.

5.3 Returns

Subject to Racer Industries return policy. Refunds go back to the original voucher(s).

5.4 Goods Issues

Contact 1300 722 374 for any issues with purchased goods.

5.5 No Cash Advances

Vouchers are not redeemable for cash or usable as credit/debit cards.

5.6 Balance & Expiry

Check balance online, in-store, or by calling 1300 722 374.

5.7 Exchanges

Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or other denominations.

5.8 Purchase Restriction

Cannot use a voucher to purchase another voucher.

5.9 Disposal

Destroy expired or fully used vouchers.

6. Expiry, Cancellation, and Re-issue

6.1 Expiry

Valid for 3 years from issue. Unused value after expiry becomes Racer Industries’ property.

6.2 Cancellation

We may void or cancel vouchers under certain conditions. Defaced or altered cards may be rejected.

6.3 Re-issue

Faulty cards may be replaced if the fault is ours.

7. Lost or Stolen Cards

Not replaceable without proof of original purchase. Treat like cash.

8. Responsibility

You are responsible for voucher use and safety.

9. Changes to Terms

11. Errors & Complaints

Report issues to 1300 722 374. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

12. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Victoria’s courts.
