What is SCHROTH ASM®?

ASM stands for Anti-Submarining. Traditional 4-point harnesses without an anti-sub strap can increase the risk of sliding under the lap belt during a crash. Schroth’s patented ASM integrates an energy converter into a single shoulder strap to significantly reduce this risk, with performance validated even in combination with airbags.

Important Notes:

• Must not be installed where rear seat occupancy is desired.
• Shoulder straps must be mounted to structural points (never thin sheet metal or child-seat anchors).
