MPI STEERING WHEELS — BUILT BY A RACER, FOR RACERS

MPI stands for Max Papis Innovations — a name that means everything in American motorsport, and one that's now available in Australia for the first time through Racer Industries.

Founded in 2009 by veteran professional racing driver Max Papis and Tatiana Fittipaldi Papis in Mooresville, North Carolina — the heartbeat of American motorsport — MPI was born from decades of first-hand experience at the highest levels of the sport. Max has competed in Formula 1, IndyCar, ChampCar, IMSA, and multiple NASCAR series, and holds the record for the most NASCAR starts by a European driver. That's not a marketing line. It's the foundation every MPI product is built on.

MPI specialises in precision-engineered steering wheels for every form of motorsport — road course, oval, drag, dirt, karting, off-road, drift, and sim racing. The range also extends to hubs, quick releases, and accessories, covering an exceptionally broad spread of applications and vehicle fitments.

Each wheel is designed with the input of someone who has actually raced at the top level, and every product must pass MPI's own internal quality control programme before it leaves the facility — including a torque structural test considered one of the most demanding on the market, and a severe-impact stress test simulating a driver's hands during a crash.
